Software Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain reliable software solutions while collaborating with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

You will contribute to important technical decisions, improve existing systems, and support junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications.

• Build clean, efficient, and reusable code.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features.

• Review code and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

• Identify and resolve technical issues and performance bottlenecks.

• Contribute to software architecture and technical planning.

• Improve development processes, testing practices, and system reliability.

• Mentor junior and mid-level software engineers.

• Create and maintain technical documentation.

• Stay informed about new technologies and software engineering practices.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• At least five years of professional software development experience.

• Strong knowledge of programming principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Experience working with modern programming languages and frameworks.

• Experience designing and developing APIs and database-driven applications.

• Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases.

• Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows.

• Experience with testing, debugging, and code-review practices.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience working with microservices or distributed systems.

• Knowledge of system design and application security principles.

• Experience with Agile or Scrum development environments.

• Previous experience mentoring developers or leading technical projects.

• Contributions to open-source projects or personal software projects.

• Familiarity with artificial intelligence or machine-learning technologies.
